We made it!
It seems like the older you get, the faster time goes, doesn’t it?
Hopefully, whichever corner of the world you are reading this from is thawing out after this wild Polar Vortex that has swept over most of the country. One month ends, a new one begins… and, a new month means a new theme at Words Between Coasts.
For us, the month of February is a month of celebration. It’s a celebration of culture – of colors, food, music, dance, rituals. A celebration of our differences, especially in honor of Black History Month.
You may have noticed that our logo is a graphic of the Earth. We chose that because we think it’s so important to get to know other people and their backgrounds. We are one world, after all. One species of humans, all with fascinating backgrounds from all different places. Let’s all be curious and open our minds to other ways of life.
We are so excited to be sharing these stories with you. We have articles of cultures from all around the world. It’s time we get to know our Earthly neighbors, don’t you think?
