#Happiness&Joy
I was asked by the amazing girls at Words Between Coasts to participate in their series for this month’s post on Happiness and Joy. Thank you so much, girls, for asking me to do this!
The more I get to know these amazing ladies is the more I love them. They have such beautiful, generous spirits!
If you are not following them or have never had the opportunity to interact with them, please check them out and start following and supporting them. You can find them on their blog here.
Reflection…
This time of year has always been a time for mixed emotions. I reflect on the loved ones I have lost and for those that are still in my life to love and be thankful for.
In life there are those moments that bring you the greatest joy and happiness and you know that you will remember them forever.
Joyful Moments
For most of us, those moments are getting married to the love of your life and the birth of your child or children.
Those are exactly the moments for me. It is too hard for me to say that one of those moments brought more joy to me than the other. It was just different types of joy and happiness.
Becoming a parent, you know that you will have moments of joy, happiness, pain and more, but you will always love your children unconditionally.
A relationship or marriage is a little different. You will have the moments of happiness, joy and pain, but you have to work every day on it. It does not come with an unconditional condition.
My Biggest Joy & /Happiness…
That being said, the moment that has brought me the biggest happiness and joy was the moment that my tiny daughter was put in my arms. I have never felt more happiness, joy, pride and overwhelming fear all at the same time. From that point on, I knew that she was my whole world and I would do anything to have her feel that same joy in her life!
Final Thoughts…
People and things have come in and out of my life, but I know that the bond that I have with her will always be there. Even on my worst day, knowing that she is there means the world to me!
She and my husband are my biggest joy and happiness, and I feel blessed to have them!
What or who brings you the most joy and happiness?
Whatever or whoever it is, hold it/them and make sure they know how much they mean to you every day!
Again, thank you so much to Lexi and Andrea for giving me this opportunity to share.
