Hello, all of our fabulous Coasters!
We hope you all had happy, safe and fun holidays this year! Thank you all for bringing in the new year with us! We are so happy to still be going strong, and we have some pretty great ideas coming up for this year!
I think everyone can agree that 2018 had its good and its bad. But we made it through, and we’re going to make 2019 an incredible year!
Words Between Coasts is only five months in, but have so much planned in the new year. Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed that we have a new layout and have included a “Monthly Message” section. Additionally, we restructured our general content areas: Activism, Inspiration,Wellness,Creative. In 2019, we hope to feature and work with more artists, writers and creators!
If you’ve kept up with our previous monthly series, you’ll know that we picked a theme and had writers submit pieces to build a series around. We’ve decided to continue this through 2019 with CHALLENGE!
To challenge ourselves, our writers, and our readers, we’re going to be keeping up the monthly themes for you all. For January, the theme is TRANSFORMATION. We have a theme for every month of the year. (If you’d like to contribute, contact us and we will send you the list!)
We will also be introducing some new ideas, like weekly themes, Andrea will be writing each week about what play she’s reading (a great resource for you actors out there!), while Lexi plans on incorporating more book content. We also hope to team up with a charity or two! We are still in our inaugural year and have TONS of exciting ideas in the works and cannot wait to share more about them! As always, we plan on expanding our small team of writers and continue to bring stories that matter! If you’re interested, be sure to contact us to learn more.
